The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, craft high-quality coffee and beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation within a vibrant retail setting. Prior experience in coffee service or food handling is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using standard recipes and equipment. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure prompt service. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment. Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Engage with customers to promote products and enhance their overall experience. Follow health regulations related to food service and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in food service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as SQUARE POS and Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety , food preparation , and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or holidays if required.
