Job Description
Job Overview Sol Smoothie is seeking dependable, energetic, and highly organized full-time & part-time team members to oversee daily shop operations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and the ability to manage both customer service and back-of-house operations. Duties Prepare and serve menu items, including coffee drinks, smoothies, açaí bowls, toast, frozen yogurt, and other food and beverage offerings Maintain high standards of customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation Operate Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Handle cash and card payments with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing at shift end. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations. Assist with cleaning, washing dishes, garbage removal, and ensuring the café remains tidy and inviting throughout your shift. Must be available 8:30am-5:30pm for Full-Time Part-time hours 10am-4pm Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & cafe setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for retail math and cash transactions is advantageous. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environment demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. The ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail ensures smooth operations. Reliable and punctual Strong leadership and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment Detail-oriented and highly organized Prior café, smoothie bar, and/or food service experience preferred; barista experience a plus Will train the right candidate
