Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision through cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Greet customers warmly, take their orders promptly, and serve drinks with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall café operations and ensuring timely service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction. Requirements Prior experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
