Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join Beeso Coffee team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve working with various coffee and food products while ensuring that every customer has a memorable experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and providing change as needed. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers with their selections. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling practices in compliance with health regulations. Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels for coffee beans, pastries, and other café items. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and support. Qualifications Must have a minimum of one year of barista experience. Previous experience in customer service and café environments is preferred. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus, but can be learned on the job. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
