Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management. Utilize POS systems effectively, including Aloha POS if applicable, to process orders efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
