! We're looking for a few good humans to join the crew at Far West Coffee. Around here, being a barista is about a whole lot more than making coffee. It's remembering someone's order, saying hello when they walk through the door, keeping your cool when the line gets long, noticing what needs to be done, and making people feel genuinely welcome. We take hospitality and making Midland a better place seriously. THE JOB As a Far West barista, you'll:- Make really good coffee, and learn the why behind what we do.
- Welcome people like you're actually glad they're here. Because we are.
- Take orders, run the register, and help guests figure out what they want when they hit you with the classic, "I don't know… what's good?"
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, organized, and ready to roll.
- Help with food, dishes, restocking, cleaning, and all the not-so-glamorous stuff that keeps a coffee shop running.
- Move with some hustle when we're slammed.
- Find something useful to do when we're not.
- Take care of the shop, the crew, and our customers.
- Learn, ask questions, take feedback, and keep getting better.
- Pitch in.
