Have availability on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday We are a fun, fast-paced cafe that takes pride in our outstanding customer service, from-scratch baked goods, made-to-order sandwiches, and local Victrola Coffee! We're extremely proud to make all of our baked goods, breads, cakes, soups, sandwiches, spreads etc., all from scratch right here in house. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated people to work part-time , 16-24 hours per week. Please be reliable, kind, able to multitask, experienced on a register, and of course customer-service oriented! Previous coffee experience is great, but not required, as we'll gladly train the right person in-house. If you think you'd be a good fit, please respond with your resume. We are looking to hire ASAP! All employees receive paid sick/vacation time. We also have a deeply loyal regular customer base who love to show their appreciation- we have been making an additional $6-$7 per hour in tips! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide amazing customer service Accurately answer customer questions Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preference for dairy alternative, bread choice for sandwiches, dietary restrictions or allergies, etc.) Memorize menus Prepare beverages following recipes Serve beverages, prepared food, and pastries Receive and process payments: cash and card Keep the front of house clean and tidy Maintain stock Side work: dishes, trash, making batches of iced tea/lemonade/cold brew, frosting and cutting brownies, banana bread, etc. Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management physically demanding job: expect to stand for 2-3 hours at a time and to lift boxes up to 50 lbs Skills preferred: Knowledge of sanitation regulations Basic math skills 24 hours are not guaranteed for part time, hours will range from 16hrs-24hrs
