Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Utilize POS system to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, answer questions about beverages, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the bar's creative offerings by experimenting with flavors and presentation techniques. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible service. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours or special events like private parties and buy-out functions. Uphold all food handling procedures, safety regulations, and alcohol service laws to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or upscale environments. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, spirits, and beverage development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, Aloha POS, and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally while managing multiple orders efficiently. Experience in food service operations including serving, cashiering, cash handling, food safety practices, and basic math skills. Prior bartending experience in hospitality industry environments such as restaurants or banquet settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and customer interactions.
