Craft Bartenders! Limon Restaurants is currently recruiting an experienced and talented Mixology team! With an extensive, innovative and evolving craft cocktail menu, we are looking to bring talent and creativity to our staff.
Intro:
At Limon Restaurants, our Chef's are continuously creating dishes teaching the ways of Peruvian cuisine and culture. Limon is a place where locals gather over shared plates and celebrate life occasions.
About Us:
Executive chef, Martín Castillo, and his brothers, Antonio and Eduardo, grew up around a busy kitchen. Their mother, Luz, was well known in her neighborhood for her delicious cooking. Limon was first established in 2002, in the heart of the Mission District of San Francisco. Winning multiple recognition's from the city, and the heart of locals. Today, the Castillo family continues to own & operate multiple Limon Rotisserie locations in the Bay Area.
The Position:
As a Lead Bartender, we require a great amount of teamwork and communication skills. This position demands creativity, professionalism, exemplary service skills, sequence of service knowledge, strong time management. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with quality ingredients and creating an elevated experience. +3 years of bartending experience at an upscale, high-volume establishment. +2 years of experience in a bar-related leadership or supervisory position. Experience with beverage menu development, including cocktail creation and seasonal programming. Experience with bar preparation, including batching, mise en place, and pre-shift setup procedures. In-depth knowledge of classic recipes, industry products, and bar procedures. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues in real time. Current Food Handler Certification and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification. California Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required. Supervisory Sexual Harassment Prevention Training certificate required, in compliance with California
AB 1825 / AB 2053.
Must be 21 years of age or older. Working knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and cocktails. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and move continuously. High school diploma or GED. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
