The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment. This role involves also table service on certain shifts. The bartender will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing POS systems, and supporting the overall bar operations to create a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining or drinking experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and credit transactions accurately Maintain knowledge of beverage recipes, including cocktails, wine pairings, craft beers, and spirits Develop beverage recipes and suggest drink options based on customer preferences Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels Clean and organize the bar area regularly to uphold hygiene standards Handle cash transactions efficiently while processing payments accurately Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service flow during busy hours Assist in food service when necessary, including serving food or supporting catering events Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and responsible alcohol service Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine selection, and craft beer varieties Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet environments is preferred Ability to develop beverage recipes and contribute to menu innovation Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and food safety calculations Knowledge of food handling procedures and responsible alcohol service regulations Previous experience in hospitality industry roles including bartending or bar management is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in hospitality or food service industries is highly desirable We look forward to meeting you!
