Ramirez-Bianchi Corp / Ramirez-Bianchi Corp II Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, friendly, and dependable Bartender to join our restaurant team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality beverages while providing attentive and professional service. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about cocktails, tequila, beer, and wine and can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service. Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages accurately according to restaurant recipes and portion standards. Learn and confidently describe our cocktails, tequila selections, flights, beer, wine, food menu, and featured specials. Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service laws and restaurant policies. Monitor alcohol consumption and notify management of any concerns. Enter orders accurately into the POS system and process payments properly. Recommend beverages, menu items, and food pairings to increase sales. Prepare drinks for restaurant guests and service staff promptly. Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other supplies. Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar, including counters, equipment, bottles, tools, sinks, and glassware. Monitor inventory and immediately report shortages, spills, waste, breakage, or equipment problems. Follow restaurant recipes, portion controls, cash-handling procedures, and company policies. Work cooperatively with servers, bussers, hosts, kitchen employees, and managers. Attend required meetings, training sessions, and product tastings. Help maintain a clean restaurant by cleaning windows, floors, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred. Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, tequila, beer, and wine. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts. Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented. Basic math, POS, and cash-handling skills. Must meet the legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certificate or other California-approved food-handler certification required. Valid California ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required. Bilingual English and Spanish is helpful but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
