About us Libertine Brewing Co is a small business in San Luis Obispo, CA. We are professional, agile and social.
Our work environment includes:

  • Greet customers and take their drink orders
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes or customer preferences
  • Check customers' identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Upsell additional drinks and menu items
  • Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Monitor customer behavior and ensure they are not intoxicated or disruptive
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality, bartending, sales, and restaurant industry practices
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
  • Familiarity with a point-of-sale systems is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
