Overview Ricardo's Bar and Grill is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Server / Bartender to join our hospitality team. This is a cross-functional position, and candidates should have bartending experience and be comfortable serving tables as needed. Team members may rotate between bartending and table service depending on scheduling, business needs, and coverage. The ideal candidate is flexible, personable, efficient, and comfortable working in both roles while providing excellent guest service in a welcoming, energetic bar and grill environment. Compensation Minimum wage + tips Tips earned through bar service or table service Experience Requirement 1-2 years of serving and/or bartending experience required Bartending experience strongly preferred Must be comfortable working both behind the bar and serving tables as needed Prior experience in a bar, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment preferred Duties Provide both bartending and table service based on shift assignments and business needs Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following responsible alcohol service requirements Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation and service standards Assist with coverage of the bar or dining floor as needed to support other team members and maintain smooth service Handle cash, credit, and POS transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, dining, and service areas Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Assist with opening, closing, setup, and breakdown as needed Support team members during busy periods and shift coverage Skills & Qualifications 1-2 years of prior serving and/or bartending experience Experience with POS systems Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic Why Work at Ricardo's Bar and Grill?
