In this lively role, you will help sample and sell delicious beverages, serve customers with enthusiasm, and manage our vendor booth with efficiency. Your energetic presence will help create memorable experiences for visitors, ensuring they enjoy the holiday cheer to the fullest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse guests, and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to spreading joy during the holiday season. Your basic everyday duties will consist of opening up shop (10x10 ft pod containers lined up on Fillmore st), setting up the table, pouring samples of our product lineup, and selling bottles to go. $3 comission for every bottle sold!! $20/hr plus tips Market runs everyday from 11/19 - 12/24. We need help on 1-2 days per week and as an occasional fill in on other days that we dont have staff available. week day hours are 12-7 and weekend hours are 11-9 Responsibilities Pour and sample a lineup of beverages to the market guests Sell pre-bottled cocktails and straight spirits to go Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about drinks and products, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Manage vendor station by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring product presentation aligns with brand standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment Requirements Proven experience in bartending or food service roles, preferably within hospitality or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipes Experience with POS systems such as square for processing transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations TIPS certified (we can help you get this if you dont have ti) This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively environments.
