Job Description

Looking for a friendly, skilled bartender to join our team at a new neighborhood bar. You ll create excellent drinks, provide attentive service, and help build a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer requestsGreet guests, take orders, make recommendations, and provide fast, courteous serviceMaintain full knowledge of menu items, house cocktails, beer, wine list, and specialsEnsure responsible alcohol service and card/ID verificationHandle cash, credit, and POS transactions accurately; balance drawer at shift endKeep bar area clean, stocked, and organized (glassware, garnishes, liquor, supplies)Monitor inventory and notify manager of low stock; assist with restocking and receiving deliveriesFollow health, safety, and sanitation procedures (cleaning, glass washing)Collaborate with team members (servers, barbacks, kitchen) to ensure smooth serviceAssist with opening/closing duties and occasional event or private-party service
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience preferred (1+ year recommended); hospitality experience consideredKnowledge of cocktail recipes, drink techniques, and beverage trendsValid food handler s permit or willingness to obtain (if required by local regulations)Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in this jurisdictionAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; flexible scheduling
