Luau Bartender, Part Time Rate of Pay:

$29.09/hour Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Part Time Luau Bartender to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job:

Duties and responsibilities as a Bartender for requests by servers of a non-public bar. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Prepares, mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Sets up bar for proper service. Responsible for adhering to applicable liquor laws. Ensures that the bar area is in a clean, orderly condition. May slice, pit and prepare items for garnishing drinks. Properly store all product. Keeps supplies and equipment ready. Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to management. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. •Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time. •

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Education/Experience:

Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages. Minimum two (2) years of bartending experience in banquets, events, and/or Hotel F&B outlet required. High school or equivalent education. Ability to operate a computerized point of sale system. TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

English speaking or bilingual. Operate cash register. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.
