Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will help foster a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair while adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a fun and flirty manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. Manage POS systems such as Square POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and billing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining, and restroom areas in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote safety and responsible alcohol service; intervene as necessary to prevent over-serving. Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts, including beverages, garnishes, glassware, and utensils. Clean and wash bar equipment daily and as needed Deliver food to tables when prepared by kitchen Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, including big events or functions. Other tasks as designated by manager Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in rowdy dive bar settings; previous retail or food service experience is advantageous. Basset certification Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS for sales transactions and cash handling. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and flirty attitude with the ability to take and dish out vulgar language Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector.
