Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and possess strong skills in food service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar platforms. Upsell menu items by recommending specials and pairing options to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Process payments efficiently while adhering to basic math skills for accurate transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils as needed. Stay informed about menu changes, ingredients, and food safety practices to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests. Requirements Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and ability to handle food safely. Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
