Fogg Brook Resort is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Bartender to join our growing food and beverage team. Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for providing friendly and efficient beverage service to guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area. This position works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, servers, kitchen staff, and event team to provide an exceptional experience for guests at Foggy's Pub, weddings, banquets, and special events. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Follow drink recipes, portioning, and presentation standards Verify identification and follow all Maine alcohol service laws and responsible-service practices Accurately enter orders and process cash and credit card payments through the POS system Maintain knowledge of drink specials, menus, events, and resort offerings Keep the bar stocked, clean, organized, and prepared for service Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs Assist with opening and closing duties Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment, glassware, counters, coolers, and service areas Assist with weddings, banquets, golf events, and other special events as needed Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Provide excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest questions or concerns Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies Qualifications Previous bartending or food and beverage experience preferred Experience in a restaurant, pub, resort, club, or event setting is a plus Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Reliable, dependable, and punctual Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Must be at least 18 years of age Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, weddings, and special events as needed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Tips Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth and advancement Employee discounts Beautiful resort setting
