Bartender, Server 1535 Opal Lake Road, Gaylord, MI 49735 From $5.49 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $5.49 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Overview We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated servers and bartenders to join our expanding team. As a server, you will serve as a key point of contact for our guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience in a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions, processing orders, and maintaining an organized and clean front-of-house environment. If you are passionate about providing outstanding service and thrive in a collaborative team setting, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Make drinks, salad, and plate desserts. Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Assist in food handling and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell specials effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential if applying for server. Experience using POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
