Manage POS system, Spot On, process transactions swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving. Restock bar supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle cash register operations with accuracy using retail math skills; perform cashiering duties when needed. Follow all food handling procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and safety standards. Assist in setting up for special events such as nightclubs or private parties, ensuring all beverage stations are fully equipped. Promote sales by upselling drinks and creating a lively atmosphere that encourages guest engagement. Stay informed about current beverage trends, brewing techniques, and new products to offer innovative options to guests. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS system, Spot On, advantageous for efficient transaction processing. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is essential. Demonstrated ability in customer service roles within the food industry or hospitality sector ensures excellent guest interactions. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements related to alcohol service is important. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales upselling, and managing tabs accurately are necessary skills. Knowledge of food industry standards related to catering, food safety protocols, and restaurant operations will support your success in this role.
