Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks accordingly. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, handling cash handling with precision. Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours through excellent time management skills while maintaining high levels of customer service. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with stock ordering when needed. Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling, food safety certifications, and responsible alcohol service. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar environment with a focus on fine dining or casual settings. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders smoothly. Experience in beverage recipe development and creating innovative drink offerings that delight guests. Previous food service experience including banquet or catering settings is highly desirable. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with basic math skills for retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol licensing regulations within the hospitality industry.
