EVENT BARTENDER
Hal & Mal's is looking for experienced bartenders to join our event team for private events, catered events, concerts, festivals, and other special occasions throughout the year. This is a flexible, event-based position with more frequent opportunities during our busiest seasons. We are looking for bartenders who are experienced, dependable, professional, and comfortable stepping into a variety of event environments. Some events are intimate and service-driven, while others are fast-paced and high-volume. The ability to read the room, work efficiently, and provide genuine hospitality is essential. Responsibilities Provide professional and welcoming bar service Set up and break down event bars Prepare cocktails and serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages Work efficiently during high-volume service Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar Follow responsible alcohol service practices Communicate clearly with event leads, bartenders, servers, and other team members Represent Hal & Mal's professionally at both onsite and offsite events What We're Looking For Previous bartending experience required Strong knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits Comfortable working weddings, private parties, corporate events, concerts, and high-volume events Dependable and punctual Professional appearance and demeanor Able to work independently while also being part of an event team Evening and weekend and Holiday availability Calm, friendly, and efficient under pressure Scheduling Available event shifts will be sent out in advance, and team members can advise regarding availability. However, this position is intended for candidates that would like to be an ongoing member of our professional and fun loving events bartending group . Consistent participation, reliability, and availability throughout the year are important to remaining part of the event team. Compensation From $30 per hour through a combination of base wage and tips, with actual earnings varying by event.Pay:
