Job Description

The Town Pump Hotel Group is looking for a motivated and outgoing Hotel Bartender, that will model our mission statement "Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service." Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth. As a Hotel Bartender, you will:
  • Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines.
  • Complete all required company and brand-specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
  • Follow Town Pump's grooming and appearance guidelines, and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift.
  • Maintain knowledge of food preparation and service using commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, chafing dishes, coffee makers, dishwashers, and refrigeration.
  • Will be preparing food for consumption by guests as needed.
  • Will be preparing drinks for consumption by guests. Will also be stocking coolers, washing glassware, taking inventory, clearing tables, bar area of used glassware, plates, etc.
  • Store and handle food items according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain and clean all equipment used to serve food as needed and beverages. Ensure all areas that food and beverages are prepared, or served, in. This includes but is not limited to, cleaning and emptying trash containers, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing areas involved in preparing, serving, and consuming food and beverages.
  • Report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place.
  • Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
  • May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed such as cleaning the lobby, assisting a guest at the front desk, etc.
  • Comply with Town Pump expectations for the confidentiality of guest and company information.
