Overview Join our dynamic team as a Barback and become a vital support to our bartenders and venue operations! In this energetic role, you will assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment while ensuring exceptional service for our guests. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages quickly and accurately to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glass wahsin, bar cleaning, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring compliance with food service bar safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to uphold a tidy environment for guests Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques Support food handling and preparation tasks as needed, including basic food prep or assisting in catering or banquet setups Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling, order entry, and processing transactions efficiently Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth venue beverage service and guest satisfaction Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially with bar experience or venue beverage service Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and bar safety compliance standards Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Previous banquet, catering, hotel, or food industry experience is advantageous A background in barista work or serving in hospitality settings demonstrates valuable customer service skills Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where every guest feels valued!
