Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling responsibly. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist in beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; address any issues promptly while maintaining a lively yet respectful atmosphere. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclub nights. Uphold all food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations at all times. Experience Proven experience as a bartender or cocktail server in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality setting. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and food handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle difficult situations tactfully. Experience working in fine dining environments or catering settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety certification are preferred.
