A Bartender mixes and prepares cocktails and serves drinks to customers. Works with other wait staff in a bar or restaurant; checks to be sure that customers are legal drinking age. May work at private parties.
Non-Exempt Job Summary Serve as a knowledgeable and customer-focused member of our tasting room team, delivering an exceptional guest experience within our 1911 Tasting Room, Retail, and Tavern space. Responsibilities include preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, crafting cocktails with consistency and attention to detail, inputting food orders, and processing transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system. Supports daily operations through the receiving, rotation, and restocking of beverage and retail inventory. Contributes to a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while ensuring full compliance with health codes and food safety standards.

Tips Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to Receive customer orders and ring transactions into the point of sale system. Prepare and/or pour customer beverages as ordered. Assist in the set-up, organization, preparation, and clean-up of all front of house areas with the Tasting Room, Tavern, and Retail spaces. Assist in stocking and maintaining inventory, may include receiving inventory and assisting in monthly inventory counts. Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including floors, with soap, warn water and sanitizer both during the shift and after the location's close in order to maintain sanitary conditions. Adhering to cleanliness guidelines, in conjunction with local and state health laws and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
Over 21 years of age High School diploma required Minimum one year experience as bartender preferred TIPS trained or equivalent training preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered
Physical Exertion:
Moderate Work- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Work may include loading and unloading cases of product, setting up product, and lifting, lowering, and moving product.
Environmental Conditions:
Indoor Work- Indoor environments may include exposure to temperature variations, such as unheated or non-air-conditioned areas. Outdoor Work- Outdoor work may involve exposure to weather conditions and seasonal temperature changes.
Travel:
No Regular Travel- This position does not require regular travel.
