Knight Center Akron, OH Job Details Part-time $22.44 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Serving Customer communication Visual merchandising Customer service Merchandising display arrangement Product placement Full Job Description Bartender Summary The bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills while serving guests drink service. The Bartender position employees are members of local union B-148 of the International Alliance of Theater Stage Employees of America. Essential Functions- Demonstrate knowledge of drink mixing and bar service.
- Maintain standards of sanitation.
- Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times.
- Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the organization's standards at all times.
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
- Ring drink orders into point of sale system, collect payment from guests for drinks served.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with company standards.
- Be attentive! Offer assistance before the guest has to ask for it.
- Count drinks guests are served.
- Serve alcohol responsibly. Should a guest reach the state where the bartender does not feel the guest should drive, ask for management intervention if necessary. Competencies
