V ecino Bartenders manage the full guest experience at each bar seat, taking orders, delivering food and returning during the meal to address drinks, refills and special requests. They answer questions about menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Bartenders also coordinate with kitchen and servers to keep orders accurate and service on schedule. Responsibilities Verify the customers' ages Mix traditional and creative cocktails, batching when needed Process payment Clean glasses and bar utensils Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere Keep bar stocked and clean throughout the shift Daily cleaning duties as required by management Completion of all side work, before, during, and after the shift as required by management Cleaning and arranging tables in the dining room Assisting all staff in the service of restaurant guests Running food and drinks Staying active and attentive to all guest's needs at all times Requirements Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
