Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits, demonstrating mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge. Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving dishes and managing table setups in a fine dining or casual environment. Engage with customers to promote specials, upsell menu items, and foster repeat business through excellent customer service. Requirements Previous experience in bartending, serving, or cashiering within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for retail math and cash handling. Knowledge of beverage preparation including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, brewing basics, and beverage recipe development. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during busy shifts. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage diverse guests. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; understanding of food handling procedures.
