As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you'll ensure the bar area remains clean, stocked, and ready to serve. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will keep the bar running smoothly during lively nights and bustling events. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills in food and beverage service while contributing to a memorable guest experience. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and sanitizing equipment regularly. Restock bar supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure seamless service throughout shifts. Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, setting up bar stations, and handling basic food preparation tasks when needed. Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and assisting with catering or banquet setups. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately when required for event setups or guest requests. Handle cash handling duties with accuracy and professionalism during cashiering tasks at the bar or event check-in points. Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service in a fast-paced nightclub or hospitality setting. Most be able to move kegs weighing 150 pounds Skills Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic and organized bar environment. Experience in food preparation, catering, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing. Previous nightclub, hotel, or restaurant experience that demonstrates adaptability in lively environments. Ability to handle food safely with proper food handling techniques. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Knowledge of food industry standards and hospitality best practices to deliver top-tier service.
