Job Description

Briggs Distilling Co. is a new, family-owned and operated craft distillery built on a love of whiskey, community, and hospitality. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, we re more than just a tasting room. We aim to be a place for people to gather, listen to some live music, and learn about our whiskey, which we are so passionate about. As we grow, we re looking for support staff who are excited to grow with us.

We are seeking an individual with experience in bar prep, who has an affinity for cleanliness and creativity. We encourage warm and attentive service, and value someone who is a self-starter, forecasts needs of the bartenders, and enjoys engaging with both staff and guests. You will be working in an environment that emphasizes timeliness and attention to detail.

Daily Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Stock the bar with necessary product and service tools.

Assist the Bartender with any prep needs for the day or week. Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing and daily versus weekly cleaning tasks.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of bars.

Perform related duties as requested by leadership teams.

Be a team player working with other team members when needed or required.

Be an effective communicator post, during, and pre-shift, alerting team members to operational issues or concerns.
Requirements:
Must have a hospitality orientation and experience in similar roles.

Must be ambitious, disciplined, and enthusiasticCandidates must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and carry/balance multiple items during service, including glass racks, ice buckets, and glassware.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to work within an engaged, collaborative, and accountable culture and team environment.

Must be able to stand for long periods.
