Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash, credit cards, and processing tips. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience while staying within established menu guidelines. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events. Requirements Proven experience in bartending within restaurants. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, spirits, and beverage presentation. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Familiarity with Berg Systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse customer needs. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food industry regulations. Food Handlers and Responsible Alcohol certification required. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
