Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction. Experience in fine dining settings or high-volume bars is preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is essential. Ability to develop beverage recipes creatively while maintaining consistency in presentation. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management. Previous experience in hospitality industry roles such as bartending or restaurant service is highly valued; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
