Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar area, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Operate cash registers and handle payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and inventory management. Assist with food handling as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets or special events. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal guidelines regarding alcohol service. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS. Excellent sales skills to promote beverages and specials effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
