Kobe Asian Fusion is looking for an experienced, creative Bar Lead to build and grow the bar program at our Fayetteville location. This is not a traditional high-volume, well-liquor bartending position. We are looking for someone who knows beer, wine, and spirits, understands what makes a great cocktail, and wants the freedom to create something of their own. You'll take the lead on developing a rotating seasonal cocktail menu featuring fresh juices, house-made syrups and infusions, and quality spirits. Just as important, we want someone who can create an experience that gives guests a reason to come back and helps turn our bar into a destination of its own. What makes this opportunity different You'll have the opportunity to shape the bar program rather than simply step into an established one. Bar tips belong solely to this position and are not shared through the restaurant's server tip pool. In addition to hourly pay and tips, the Bar Lead will be eligible for a monthly share of the bar's net profits under a separate written profit-sharing agreement. What You'll Do Create and execute a rotating seasonal craft cocktail menu Develop cocktails using fresh juices, house-made syrups and infusions, and quality spirits Prepare consistent, balanced, visually appealing drinks Use your knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, styles, varietals, and pairings to make recommendations to guests Build relationships with guests and help develop a loyal bar clientele Monitor bar inventory and submit beverage and supply orders to management for approval Maintain the bar, equipment, and glassware to cleanliness and health-code standards Accurately process bar tabs and payments through the POS system Follow all alcohol-service, food-safety, tip-reporting, and company requirements Check identification and refuse alcohol service when required Occasionally work scheduled server shifts as needed What We're Looking For Demonstrated experience creating craft cocktails using fresh, high-quality ingredients Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits Strong sense of cocktail presentation and visual design Excellent guest service and relationship-building skills Genuine interest in building a bar program and developing a regular clientele Basic math skills for payments, inventory, and pour tracking Ability to work independently and take ownership of the guest experience
Important:
High-volume bartending experience consisting primarily of standard well-liquor drinks does not, by itself, meet the experience requirement for this position. We are specifically looking for someone with demonstrated craft cocktail experience.
Pay:
From $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
