Summary:
Provides food service to patients, guests, or customers. Assists patients with menu selection according to preferences and diet restrictions. Provides daily interaction with patients to ensure a high-quality patient experience. Provides coverage in the absence of the Food Service Coordinator. Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment. Prepares food or drink items, assembles, and delivera patient trays or catering events. Performs daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receives and stores food and supply deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles and assists with inventory management. Acts as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel. Provides training of new team members. Performs other duties as assigned.
