Job Description
Join our kitchen team as a food prep worker at The Blue Gate Restaurant. We are a busy restaurant located in the heart of Amish country, welcoming visitors from all over the country. We are focused on teamwork and delivering a consistent, high-quality product. Your effort will ensure that guests enjoy a good meal and leave with a smile. Food prep workers' responsibilities include the following: Preparing food. Following recipes. Making simple dishes. Assembling and plating meals. Cleaning and sanitizing your work area. Other tasks as assigned. Experience in the food industry is helpful but optional. We cross-train all team members to provide them with the knowledge and skills to work in all areas of our kitchen. As a food prep worker, you'll work three to five times per week, including Fridays and Saturdays (required), mid-day or 2nd shift from 2:00 or 4:00 pm until the kitchen closes. Open availability is preferred! Adult wages range from $16.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour, based on industry experience and availability.
