PT Hourly, Non-Exempt Summary Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the General Manager for Legends Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Catering Attendant oversees all catering functions to ensure that the assigned events and activities are organized and executed resulting in the complete satisfaction of the guests attending the event.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.- Assists in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all banquet equipment.
- Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service.
- Ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event
- Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Orders (BEO), as well as Catering Department Service Standards.
- Must adhere to the SMG dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes.
- Other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, and clients.
- Organized, able to prioritize, and have strong time-management skills.
- Positive and able to motivate staff to offer hospitality service which exceeds guests' expectations.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as well as spur of the moment events.
- Able to work independently, as well as a team player.
- Able to be creative with buffet presentations and maintain a quality product.
- Maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits required by Department of Health.
- 6 months to 1 year of service experience in a restaurant, catering facility or club environment preferred
- Must be at least 19 years of age Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift
- Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
- Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
- May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on season The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
