Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant Tasting Room & Cafe team. We have a small number of prepared food items that we serve to guests of our Tasting Room at Flag Hill Distillery & Winery. We are looking for someone that can serve as our kitchen worker. This person would commit to working on weekends. We do not have a full-time position we can offer but there may be additional hours that could be acquired outside of the kitchen in other parts of the business, whether in the tasting room or for our catering company. Weekends is key, as that is when we have most of the staff employed for the Tasting Room and for private events. We have a fun and energetic environment. Flag Hill is a beautiful location with a long history of wine, spirits and events. Duties Work most Saturdays and Sundays. Usually from about noon until closing (about 7PM) Preparing and organizing ingredients for service. Make a short list of food items, panini sandwiches, cheese/charcuterie boards, wine smoothies, and a few more. Much of the ingredients are prepped by our catering company and this is more of the final stages of creation and cooking. Must maintain a clean and organized work space. Must communicate with other staff and follow direction. Will help with dish washing. Will help with general kitchen cleaning and closing at the end of the day. Skills Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required. We will pay during training.
