Job Description
Who we are: Juice Journey is a fast paced, high energy cafe in Edgewater, NJ with breathtaking views of NYC! We offer freshly made cold-pressed juices, juice cleanses, nut milks, smoothies, Acai bowls, grab-and-go vegan food, soups, salads, healthy snacks and desserts. Everything is homemade, vegan, dairy free and gluten free! We're looking for responsible, high energy, friendly, outgoing and motivated team players who share our passion for a healthy lifestyle and entrepreneurial thinking! You must be able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Cleanliness, attention to detail and good communication skills a must! Food handlers certification preferred but not required. We provide great career growth opportunities What you will do: Help to hire and train a great team of approximately 8-12 motivated individuals who can provide impeccable service to our guests. Evaluate employee performances and resolve personal problems or conflicts. Educate current team members about company policies and procedures Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service and accommodations. Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, safe, and fun work environment. Hit weekly sales goals Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation to make sure its up to company standards. Create weekly staff schedules utilizing appropriate systems/ software Utilize POS System, operate cash register, and go to the bank to get register change as needed. Perform food preparation by following Juice Journey recipes and processes. Schedule and receive food deliveries, checking delivery contents to ensure quality and quantity. Organize inventory and raw materials according to Health Department standards including using FIFO. Responsible for opening, closing and covering the counter if scheduled team members are unable to work their shifts. Adhere to company opening and closing procedures and maintaining accompanying records.
