Food Service Worker - Trayline Newark, NJ | Full-Time | Dietary | About the Role The primary purpose of the Food Service Worker position is to assist in preparing and serving food to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and their family members.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do Delivers meals and snacks per policy and procedure. Retrieves patient meal trays per policy and procedure. Utilizes knowledge of growth and development when providing services to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Communicates with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a manner which demonstrates an understanding of the patient developmental and cognitive level. Formulates patient meal supplement and nourishment.
