GED Full Job Description Job Description:

Primary responsibilites of the Cafeteria Aide are monitoring students' conduct in the cafeteria, and helping to prepare the cafeteria for students, for all Lunch Periods/students. This position is a (.625) Part-time position working 5 hours of the school day.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Certificates & Licenses:

None required.

Experience:

No job related experience required.

Essential Functions:

Teaches students proper use of utensils when needed. Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits. Monitors students to maintain safety and prevent infractions of disciplinary rules. Organizes students to ensure orderly purchase of food and movement to assigned tables. Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Compensation:

Hourly wage $18.08 to $19.18 an hour (Additional factors in calculation, including hours, # of days, etc.)

Clearances:

Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance. Tuberculosis Skin Test. Public Health Compliance - Must follow safety and health protocols. WP
