Home2 Suites by Hilton Harrisonburg University is looking for an energetic, dependable, and guest-focused Part-Time Guest Service Agent / Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This is a cross-trained position designed for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to support both our Front Desk and Breakfast operations . The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and comfortable working a variety of shifts, including early morning breakfast shifts and overnight front desk/audit shifts . What You'll Do Guest Services / Front Desk Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in, check-out, reservations, and general questions Create a welcoming and professional experience for every guest Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, promotions, and local attractions Communicate guest requests and special needs to the appropriate departments Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts Handle wake-up calls, guest messages, and other front desk responsibilities Assist with room status discrepancies and communicate with Housekeeping as needed Assist with overnight audit responsibilities when scheduled Follow Hilton and hotel policies, procedures, and service standards Breakfast Operations Prepare and set up the complimentary breakfast area before service Ensure breakfast is ready and fully stocked for opening Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout breakfast Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies throughout the breakfast period Monitor food presentation, quality, temperature, and cleanliness Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area, kitchen, and service stations Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures Break down and clean the breakfast area following service Assist with inventory and communicating supply needs to management Provide additional operational support to the hotel as needed What We're Looking For Previous hotel, front desk, breakfast, food service, or customer service experience preferred Experience with the Hilton PEP PMS system is a plus High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer and math skills Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and hotel operating standards Schedule & Availability Flexible availability is required for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts based on hotel business needs, including: Early morning breakfast shifts Day and evening front desk shifts Weekends and holidays Overnight audit shifts, including 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Because this is a cross-trained position, associates may be scheduled in either Guest Services or Breakfast depending on operational needs.
