Responsibilities Assist in managing daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, festive setting Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate food production to minimize waste Train new team members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality throughout the cafe environment Conduct staff performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training & development initiatives Analyze profit and loss reports to optimize sales strategies and control costs Experience Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the food industry or hospitality management Strong background in food preparation, cafe, and food safety management practices Familiarity with POS systems such as square Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop staff effectively Knowledge of catering, banquet operations or is a plus Strong communication skills for managerial tasks like interviewing, training, and staff supervision Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership transforms our holiday-themed cafe into a joyful destination!
