JIMMY'S ON FIRST AT SILVER CLOUD HOTEL - SEATTLE STADIUM
Seattle's premier upscale sports-dining destination is seeking talented, passionate, and team-oriented hospitality professionals to join us as Host / Server Support team members. Jimmy's on First is located inside the Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium, between Seattle's historic Pioneer Square and SoDo districts. We are steps from Lumen Field, home of the Seahawks and Sounders, and T-Mobile Park, home of the Mariners. Get any closer to the action and you would need a uniform. POSITION PURPOSE
The Server / Server Support position is a flexible, cross-trained front-of-house role responsible for helping deliver efficient, attentive, and high-quality dining experiences throughout Jimmy's on First, cocktail service, private dining, banquet, and special-event operations. Depending on business volume, scheduling, operational needs, and demonstrated proficiency, team members may be assigned to work in either a Server or Server Support capacity. This position requires a collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute wherever needed to support guests, coworkers, and the overall operation. When assigned as a Server, the team member is responsible for managing the complete guest experience from initial greeting through final payment. This includes explaining menu offerings, taking accurate food and beverage orders, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, delivering timely service, processing payments, and using appropriate suggestive-selling techniques. When assigned to Server Support, the team member assists with dining room preparation, table maintenance, food and beverage delivery, water service, clearing and resetting tables, stocking service stations, and supporting the flow of service throughout the restaurant. Server Support team members are expected to anticipate the needs of guests and Servers while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. In banquet, private dining, and special-event settings, this position assists with event setup, service execution, clearing, breakdown, and other responsibilities necessary to deliver a polished and coordinated guest experience. Success in this position requires strong communication, situational awareness, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to perform effectively during high-volume stadium events, concerts, and peak dining periods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming, personalized dining experience. Maintain thorough knowledge of food menus, beverage offerings, daily specials, preparation methods, ingredients, and potential allergens. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the point-of-sale system. Provide attentive and efficient service while appropriately pacing each guest's dining experience. Use menu knowledge and suggestive-selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and support revenue goals. Communicate effectively with culinary, bar, host, and support teams regarding orders, guest needs, and service timing. Monitor assigned tables and respond promptly to guest requests. Present guest checks, process payments accurately, and follow established cash-handling procedures. Resolve routine guest concerns and promptly involve a manager when additional assistance is required. Maintain assigned sections, service stations, and surrounding areas in a clean and organized condition.
SERVER SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the dining room and service areas before each shift. Set, clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables according to established standards. Assist with delivering food and beverages accurately and efficiently. Provide water service and maintain appropriate tabletop items throughout the guest experience. Remove used dishes, glassware, silverware, and other service items promptly. Restock service stations with glassware, silverware, dishes, linens, condiments, and other supplies. Assist Servers with maintaining assigned sections and responding to guest needs. Support hosts, bartenders, culinary team members, and other front-of-house employees as business demands require. Maintain clean floors, workstations, service areas, and guest-facing spaces throughout the shift. Assist with opening, closing, side-work, and general cleaning responsibilities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide professional and courteous service consistent with Silver Cloud Hotels and Jimmy's on First standards. Work collaboratively with all front-of-house and back-of-house team members. Support restaurant, bar, banquet, private dining, catering, and special-event operations. Complete event setup, service, clearing, and breakdown assignments as directed. Maintain compliance with food-safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, and workplace-safety requirements. Follow all company policies and procedures related to payment processing, cash handling, loss prevention, and guest privacy. Maintain a polished, professional appearance and approachable demeanor. Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE
Previous restaurant, hotel, banquet, or hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Previous serving experience strongly preferred for Server assignments. Ability and willingness to work in both Server and Server Support capacities based on operational needs. Current Washington State Food Worker Card required. Current MAST Permit required for employees serving alcoholic beverages. Cash-handling and point-of-sale experience preferred. Experience working in a high-volume, event-driven restaurant environment is a plus.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, sporting events, and concerts, based on business needs.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
COMPENSATION
The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.30 per hour .
