Job Description
Sushi Chef/HELPER Kyoto sushi

- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and rolls according to our recipes and standards.
- Manage food prep, including cutting fish, cooking rice, and preparing other ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized sushi bar and kitchen station.
- Monitor food stock and ensure freshness of all ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. [Qualifications / Requirements]
- Experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Helper (Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person).
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of food safety rules.
- Ability to work efficiently in a restaurant environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. [Schedule & Shift Options] We offer flexible part-time scheduling and are looking for candidates who can work one of the following shift options. Sunday shifts will also be available/needed in the near future!
Option A:
Wednesday & Thursday (9.5 hours / day)Option B:
Friday (10 hours) & Saturday (6.5 hours)- Shift combinations and total hours are negotiable based on availability.
