Our restaurant is part of the Katsu-Ya Restaurant Group, located in Manhattan Beach. Our restaurant is focused on bringing an excellent and exciting dining experience to Los Angeles. We are looking for energetic, individuals with a passion for Japanese food, with a minimum of 3 years experience as Sushi Chef.

Responsibilities:

Prepare Sushi, Sashimi, Rolls, and other food items with high quality and our standard. Maintain a clean sanitary work area. Assist food prepping food during off-peak hours. Coordinate fish orders Check freshness and quality of ingredients Re-stock goods and food products. Follow proper recipes and plate presentations Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant, cooking, or other related fields Passion for food and strong knife skills, cooking techniques Strong communication skills and sense of urgency Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Professional attitude and great team worker
