Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train someone who is dependable, motivated, and interested in learning sushi and Japanese cuisine. Key Responsibilities Assist the Sushi Chef with fish, seafood, vegetable, garnish, and sushi preparation. Prepare ingredients, sauces, and other components for daily service. Prepare and cook kitchen menu items according to restaurant standards. Maintain proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and freshness. Keep sushi and kitchen stations clean, organized, and properly stocked. Support the Sushi Chef and kitchen team during preparation and service. Qualifications Kitchen, restaurant, or sushi experience preferred but not required. Basic knife and food-preparation skills preferred. Willingness to learn sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine. Reliable, organized, and able to work well with a team.
