Education:
Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; a formal culinary degree or certificate is strongly preferred.Experience:
At least five years of progressively responsible professional cooking experience, preferably in high-volume settings.Management Certification:
A current ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate (or other ANAB-accredited Management Safety certificate accepted by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health). A valid California Class C driver's license, a good driving record and the ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy. Upon acceptance of the District's offer of employment, new hires may be required to complete a baseline physical examination prior to the first day of employment. Employment position may be funded through annual budgets that may expire or end after a specific time. Certification (A current ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate (or other ANAB-accredited Management Saftey certificate accepted by the San Bernardino County of Department of Public Health).)
